Man, I hope this works out. If he stays healthy, I think they got a pretty great deal. He’s a great pitcher, only 26, with an option for ’09, and they didn’t really give up a ton to get him. A 1-2 punch like Zambrano/Harden can go a long way come September/October.
Getting Gaudin in the deal as well is a nice bonus – he’s a pretty solid reliever.
We’ll see how this pans out, but I’m a happy fan right now.
