And this is why Apple shares are high and steady. They’re just crazy-smart with their money. They spend a lot, but they aren’t wasteful. I’d be they spend a lot more time negotiating advertising contracts as well, to maximize their dollar, just like they do with their hardware and software.

What I can’t understand is why these “Peek” devices are getting funding at all. Why in the world would anyone want yet another device to carry around? A separate “messaging” device just makes no sense at all, now that almost every phone being made incorporates all forms of messaging and browsing in some fashion.
